Wonderland Scarf

The Wonderland Scarf is a crochet scarf that is easy to create, and quick to work up! I love these patterns so much because if you have as much and ideas as I have, I need to be able to get through one skein and move onto the next! This scarf uses two different stitches in a repeating pattern to achieve this look. As long as you know how to double crochet, and create a V stitch, you are on your way to recreating the Wonderland Scarf for yourself! If you are new to crochet, or are unsure on how to do these stitches, I have the full pattern written out below, and a video tutorial underneath that to follow along with.

The materials we’ll need:

  • 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn (4)
  • Crochet hook “I” (5.25mm)
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle

Once you have these materials, let’s get to the pattern!

  1. Chain (ch) 27.
  2. In the fourth chain from the hook, create a double crochet (dc), then continue for the rest of the row. Ch 2, turn work
  3. DC whole row, ch 2, turn work.
  4. Repeat #3 two more times, for a total of 4 rows of DC
  5. Skip 1st stitch, DC into 2nd stitch, ch 1, DC into same stitch. Skip next two stitches and repeat (dc, ch1, dc) into the same stitch. Continue across rest of the row, ending with a dc into the turning ch from previous row. Ch 3, turn work.
  6. The next row will be similar to the previous row, except we’ll be working our (dc, ch 1, dc) in the V stitch, the ch1 space, from the previous row.
  7. Repeat step 6 two more times for a total of 4 “V” stitch rows.
  8. Repeat steps 3-6, 16 more times ending with a final DC set.
  9. Cut any remaining yarn and weave in ends.
