Boyfriend Scarf

What a perfect blend between: simple beginner project, great gift for him, and quick make up!

The boyfriend scarf is the perfect scarf to make for the guys who are hard to shop for. It works up within an afternoon, or take a weekend to put it together here and there. You could even make up a few of these in a couple days and have tons of gifts ready for Christmas! Oh wait, is it too soon to be thinking of that?

Let’s step back into fall then. The examples I show in the video both have the tweed yarns in them because they look great for my fall favorites, and I know the guys don’t mind sporting tweed either. So let’s get into the pattern so you can start to make some of your own!

What you’ll need:

  1. Any worsted weight yarn
  2. “K” Crochet Hook
  3. Scissors
  4. Tapestry Needle

This is a super easy pattern with only two types of rows, so once you get the hang of it, you can binge watch a good show and start crocheting on autopilot.

  • Chain 220
  • Row 1: Single crochet all
  • Row 2: Double crochet all

Yup, that’s it. Repeat rows 1 & 2 about 5 times, depending on what kind of width you were looking for, and end on Row 1.

Tie off your yarn at the last stitch, and weave in your ends using the tapestry needle.
