A couple weeks ago I posted a free pattern for the Into the Woods Scarf. This is a follow up to that post where you can create the matching ear warmer!
If you are looking for a quick project to help use up some of your yarn scraps, this is a great one! I still had about half a skein leftover from the scarf portion of this pattern and still had some yarn leftover when the ear warmer was complete.
I didn’t think this look would be a great hat, but it’s just wide enough for a cute headband to wear with the scarf! This is also a great little project if you’re looking to make something quick. It only took me about a half hour to crochet this together.
To create this look, I used Lion Brand’s Vanna White Light Heather, and the Taupe color to match the scarf I created in the video.
If you’d like to crochet this ear warmer, you’ll need the following materials:
- Worcested weight yarn
- “J” Crochet Hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Pattern:
- Chain 56
- Row 1: Single crochet (sc) all
- Row 2: Ch 3, turn work. Double crochet (dc) all
- Row 3: Ch 1, turn work. Sc all
- Row 4: Ch 4, turn work. *DC, ch 1*
- Row 5: Single crochet (sc) all
- Row 6: Ch 3, turn work. Double crochet (dc) all
- Row 7: Ch 1, turn work. Sc all
