Yarn by the Glass

For my first blog/video tutorial, I thought I would start small and simple. So here’s is my take on a cotton crochet dishcloth!

Materials needed:
– 1 skein of a cotton yarn ( I used the peaches & creme)
– Crochet hook size H (5mm)
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors

The exact size can be however long and tall by simply adding or subtracting from the starting chain, then by adding or subtracting rows. The dishcloths I made measure 7″ x 7″.

To start, ch (chain) 22

Row 1: Sc (single crochet) in 2nd st (stitch) from hook, sc in every st
Row 2: Sc in each st
Repeat row 2 until project is complete.

For my dishcloth, I completed 25 rows.

Once the project is complete use the tapestry needle to weave ends at the beginning and end
